"Just as physical activity keeps your body strong, mental activity keeps your mind sharp and agile. One way to do this is to continually challenge yourself by learning new skills. If you continue to learn and challenge yourself, your brain continues to grow, literally. An active brain produces new connections between nerve cells that allow cells to communicate with one another. This helps your brain store and retrieve information more easily, no matter what your age."

One more reason to always use your King James Version. What better way to exercise your brain. I like the fact that sometimes I don't understand the meaning of a word or phrase in my Bible. I've learned much more about my Bible when forced to look into verses a little further and more often than I would with a modern translation. One of the things I have found fascinating is finding out the meanings of much of the Hebrew and Greek words used. Many times I have had to go back and read the reference verses to understand, and that has given me a much greater appreciation of the miracle that this Book written over a period of 1600 years can tie so well together.
